Power Is Power Mp3 Lyrics Meaning
(from “For the Throne” compilation)

[The Weeknd:]
I was born of the ice and snow
With the winter wolves, in the dark, alone
The wildest night, I became the one
And you’ll know you’re mine when the silence calls
Heavy is the crown only for the weak

A knife in my heart couldn’t slow me down
‘Cause power is power, the fire never goes out
I rise from my scars, nothing hurts me now
‘Cause power is power
Now watch me burn it down

[SZA:]
I went down for the coldest one
And I know I’ll win ’cause I played before, yeah
I don’t know with whatever you say
I don’t know if we need it your way
You wouldn’t take my place
Put me away, I die lookin’ up at your face
How do I ever know? Who can I trust?
Feelings of emptiness
Only love could kill me, God bless

[The Weeknd & SZA:]
A knife in my heart
Couldn’t slow me down (Couldn’t slow me down)
‘Cause power is power (‘Cause power is power)
The fire never goes out
I rise from my scars
Nothing hurts me now (Nothing hurts me now)
‘Cause power is power (‘Cause power is power)
Now watch me burn it down

[Travis Scott:]
Breathe, feel the air that I breathe (Yeah)
Air that I, air that I breathe (Ooh)
Who’s hotter? Been a monster with a crown (Ooh)
Soul-swapper, high water, keep your head up, you might drown (Ooh)
Hit as well, it’s way colder, by the day, we count it down
Been around, just been waitin’ up, she gon’ come around
I took a drag, bust it out the gate, smile lil baby, slay
I wore a flag, put that on my face, ain’t nobody safe
Lift the mask, they gon’ have to see what they can’t erase
I took a life, so I took it back (Do-do-do-do-do, yeah)
Danger’s on my mind (Ah)
Ain’t no knife, dagger, bullet that can do it
‘Fore you even know, oh, yeah, she’ll do it, yeah, yeah (Ah)

[SZA:]
Heavy is the crown, but never for a queen (Oh yeah)

[The Weeknd & SZA:]
A knife in my heart
It couldn’t slow me down (Couldn’t slow me down)
‘Cause power is power (‘Cause power is power)
The fire never goes out (Oh)
I rise from my scars (Yeah)
Nothing hurts me now (Nothing hurts me now)
‘Cause power is power (‘Cause power is power)
Now watch me burn it down (Ooh, yeah, yeah)
Now watch me burn it down

Game of Thrones | Arya Stark Dagger?

How Arya Stark Got The Dagger? #GameOfThrones #ForTheThrone #GoTS8 #SpoilerAlert

The dagger was used by a cut throat who tried to murder Bran in Season 1, and as Littlefinger points out, in a very real way it started the War of the Five Kings. After fighting off the assassin, Catelyn Stark took the dagger to Kings Landing because she suspected the Lannisters were behind the attempt on Bran’s life.

Upon receiving the weapon, Bran asks Littlefinger, “Do you know who this belonged to?” It sounds like a straightforward inquiry into who might have tried to kill him, but this is an odd ask coming from a guy who sees everything, so why pose the question at all?

Upon a rewatch, it sounds like a legit, but different, question: Does Littlefinger actually know who this dagger used to belong to?

Littlefinger might not, but it sure seems like Bran does.

There’s good reason to think that the dagger is very old. Sam saw a drawing of it on a page in a book he helpfully lingered on in episode 1.

Arya Stark Dagger

How would Robert Baratheon have gotten a Valyrian steel dagger so renowned that it was sketched in a history book in a chapter on Dragonstone, ancestral seat of House Targaryen?

Simple: He stole it from Rhaegar Targaryen after the Battle on the Trident.

It makes sense that Robert would take a valuable victory trophy from the man he killed in what by all accounts was a very personal conflict. Robert blamed Rhaegar for the kidnapping, rape, and death of the woman he loved and when he killed Rhaegar, he took it.

So let’s say for the sake of argument that Arya Stark is in possession of what I will now refer to as Rhaegar Targaryen’s dagger. Why do we care who it’s owner used to be?

If nothing else the dagger’s provenance is a reminder that the past still matters and that characters are still dealing with the repercussions of choices made a long time ago.

We won’t spoil the fun of the episode for you all hence enjoy episode 3 to figure out the importance of this dagger used by Arya Stark & why Bran did not hand over the dagger to Jon Snow. This is got to be one of the best episodes in Game Of Thrones, every moment was truely pulsating even though long battles can be boring but this one was too much action packed.

Fan Theories suggest that the next Arya Stark victim referred to as Green Eyes could be either Cersei or Daenerys Targaryen? Which one do you think is on her hit list let us know your comments below.

Game of Thrones – Jenny Of Oldstones | Podrick

Battle of Winterfell

Epic Battle of Winterfell is about to begin with the White Walkers. Several fans have predicted about the Jenny Oldstones lyrics and montage which foreshadowed the death of some major characters in the most recent episode.

While Podrick was singing, the episode showcased several characters which has led to speculate these are going to be the first casualties of war.

Among them was Samwell Talry (John Bradley), Gilly (Hannah Murray), baby Sam, Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner), Theon (Alfie Allen), Gendry (Joe Dempsie), Arya Stark (Maisie Williams), Greyworm (Jacob Anderson), Missandei (Nathalie Emmanuel) and Jorah Mormont (Iain Glen).

The Battle of Winterfell is expected to be a bloodbath and this many characters getting the chop would make sense. The other characters though are most likely to be meeting an end sooner rather than later, particularly Greyworm who is going to be on the frontline leading the Unsullied into battle against the White Walkers.

The Battle of Winterfell is going to only be one of a number of conflicts in season eight as the fight between light and dark plays out, it will be 82 minutes long and will be epic.

Some of our beloved characters who are rumored to die in the upcoming battle of Winterfell:

Jaime Lannister: This character, played by Danish actor Nikolaj Coster Waldau, is a knight who fathered several illegitimate children with his sister, Cersei, now the queen (played by Lena Headey).

Theon Greyjoy: Played by Alfie Allen, he was raised by Eddard Stark in Winterfell as a ward, but later betrayed his adoptive family and seized the castle. Now he is set to defend it.

Brienne of Tarth: Played by Gwendoline Christie – who also appeared in the recent “Star Wars” films – she was the first woman knighted in the show’s Seven Kingdoms.

Battle Plan for Crypt as a Safe House?

Are they right in being in the crypts of Winterfell where the dead bodies are buried & the army of dead is approaching. Sounds like dooms day to us, initial teasers did mention Crypts of Winterfell as a hint of the battle ahead. Let’s see if the little girl guarding the crypt is able to fulfil her promise as the Night king approaches.

How to Defeat the Night King

Several theories also suggest that the only way to defeat the Night King is to burn down the weir wood tree where he was created, probably Melisandre will have some role to play in this ending. She has been the surprise element as of now in Season 8, have not seen her in Winterfell yet even though she did mention she had a role to play in the final fight of Ice & Fire. Brendan Stark represents ice, Melissandre represents fire, will they unleash their combined magic on the night king. Night King draws his powers from the Weirwood trees where he was created & the symbol he leaves along everywhere also matches the symbol on the Weirwood tree where he was created.

Bran Stark was told earlier in the season that Night King will be coming for him & he will be prepared this time. Bran’s plan for the Battle of Winterfell, as outlined in season eight is to lure the Night King into a vulnerable position — namely, to hang out away from the main battlefield, near the castle’s weirwood forest, known as the godswood, and wait until the Night King shows up. Rumours are that he has chosen this particular location as it is significant to the Children of the Forest, to the Night King, and to Bran himself.

Since the Night King was made by shoving dragonglass into his chest while he was pinned to a weirwood tree, perhaps he can be unmade in the exact same way — by somehow pinning him to a weirwood tree and driving a dragonglass dagger into his chest in order to reverse the original ancient spell.

After that, the theory holds, all of the White Walkers the Night King has created should be destroyed. This speculation derives from the fact that if you kill a White Walker, all of the wights they “sired” die.

Game of Thrones Exclusive – Jenny Of Oldstones | Podrick Song Lyrics Meaning

[Intro]
High in the halls of the kings who are gone
Jenny would dance with her ghosts
The ones she had lost and the ones she had found
And the ones who had loved her the most

[Verse 1]
The ones who’d been gone for so very long
She couldn’t remember their names
They spun her around on the damp old stone
Spun away all her sorrow and pain

[Chorus]
And she never wanted to leave, never wanted to leave
Never wanted to leave, never wanted to leave

[Verse 2]
They danced through the day
And into the night through the snow that swept through the hall
From winter to summer and winter again
‘Til the walls did crumble and fall

[Chorus]
And she never wanted to leave, never wanted to leave
Never wanted to leave, never wanted to leave
And she never wanted to leave, never wanted to leave
Never wanted to leave, never wanted to leave

[Outro]
High in the halls of the kings who are gone
Jenny would dance with her ghosts
The ones she had lost and the ones she had found
And the ones who had loved her the most

GameofThrones Season 7 Promo: “Reign”

#HBO recently released the promo for #GameofThrone #Season7. Its simply mindlblowing is all we can say.

The most interesting new shot is the above image of Arya Stark. She’s got a new wardrobe, though it’s not surprising considering she arrived back in Westeros at the end of Season 6. Based on her cloak, it seems more likely that she’s heading north instead of south this coming season.

Meanwhile, Sansa is once again in the Winterfell godswood, the same place where Littlefinger suggested she should be Queen in the North in Season 6’s finale. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Sophie Turner teased of her Season 7 arc: “She’s seemingly in control for the first time — and it really suits her. She’s kind of having a bit of a power trip. But she’s also becoming more insecure, because there are threats to the power that she holds.”

Speaking of threats to her power, Jon Snow looks like his new digs as King in the North really suit him.

This isn’t the first promo HBO has released for Game of Thrones: Season 7. Back in July, the network also released a video announcing the new season was in production.

Game of Thrones Season 6 Theme

#GameOfThrones Season 6 has kicked off and we are all crazy over this beautiful theme song all over again!!

The title sequence consists of a three-dimensional map of the world, with the continents of Westeros and Essos located on the inner surface of a sphere. At the center of the sphere is a light source, effectively a sun surrounded by an astrolabe-like arrangement of rotating rings. The details of the title sequence change each week depending on the locations visited. The following description is how the sequence appears in the first episode of the series, “Winter is Coming”.

The sequence opens with a close-up of the sun and the astrolabe surrounding it. Relief details are visible on the astrolabe, showing a volcano destroying a city while a dragon watches on and several people escaping in a boat, a reference to the Doom of Valyria. The camera then pans to a wide-shot of Westeros and Essos before zooming in on the city of King’s Landing, in particular the sigil of House Baratheon on what appears to be a large gear in the middle of the city. The gear begins turning, moving other cogs, and then three-dimensional buildings start rising out of the ground, such as the Red Keep and the Great Sept of Baelor.

Once the city is assembled, the camera moves north across Westeros to Winterfell, which similarly rises out of the ground while a gear bearing the sigil of House Stark rotates. The camera pays particular attention to the godswood of Winterfell and its heart tree as it rises out of the ground before panning up to the sun and astrolabe. There is then another close-up of the detail on the astrolabe, this time showing the Stark direwolf, Lannister lion and Baratheon stag engaging the Targaryen dragon in combat, a reference to Robert’s Rebellion.

The camera returns to Winterfell and then pans north to the Wall, where more gears start turning and Castle Black emerges from the ground, while the pulley lift emerges from the face of the Wall. The camera pulls all the way back to King’s Landing before moving across the Narrow Sea to the Free City of Pentos, which similarly emerges from the ground while gears rotate.

The title sequence ends with a return to the relief detail of the astrolabe, now showing the animals representing the various noble houses of Westeros bowing to the triumphant Baratheon stag. The Game of Thrones logo then appears over the astrolabe, with the heads of a dragon, wolf, lion, and stag emerging from the side of the logo.
